Data Science for Design (DS4D) (2017-2023), 20cts, postgraduate. This course provides an introduction to programming, used in support of the development of data science techniques, to give a practical facility in manipulating, analysing, visualising and contextualising data. The course teaches Python, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and data-driven storytelling to both graduates in design and computer science. The course run collaborative projects with real world data through our data fairs.
Data Visualization for Professionals (2020-2022), 10cts, postgraduate. This is a data visualization course designed for working professionals or people outside university looking for upskilling. The course asks participants to bring their own data and work on visualization projects related to their work and interest. The course is run entirely online and will feature video lectures, Q&A sessions, individual consulutations, peer-feedback, quizzes, and hands-on tutorials. More information on the course website.
